Out for Blood / INDIA

2025 - ON GOING

Out for Blood is an on-going project on period poverty in India, where blood is both symbol and condemnation, and a natural biological phenomenon transforms into stigma, silence, and control, shaping lives, bodies, and futures. Through voices from Hindu, Muslim, and Adivasi communities, the project explores inequality, exclusion, violence, and lack of access to hygiene and education. Beyond a health issue, menstruation emerges as a matter of human rights and self-determination—reclaiming blood as a means to reclaim the body as a site of knowledge, resistance, and liberation.
